This is an intriguing game IMO. It sets up as a trap game for OU as it follows a game in Knoxville against the Volunteers and precedes a conference game against the Mountaineers in Norman.
Definitely a key year for Stoops. I believe he had better produce or else. Also, we get to see how far along Coach Montgomery is in implementing the offense.
I believe Montgomery made at least three key hires for the staff - Bill Young Co-Defensive Coordinator (great veteran DC) and the Co-OC and Co-OC/QB coaches off of Coach Babers' staff.
I have heard predictions that OU will challenge for the Big-12 title this year, but I don't buy it. I won't be shocked if TU knocks off the Sooners.
