I guess there were reports yesterday that Oklahoma president David Boren had privately come out against the league expanding. Boren then released a statement saying that OU had not taken a position.
Then OSU master booster Boone Pickens tells Kirk Bohls of the Austin American Statesman that Boren should retire because he's been wishy washy about expansion. Further, Pickens rips Mike Gundy saying that Gundy doesn't handle relationships very well and that he's heard Gundy has said some things about him that weren't very nice.
Well, I guess if you're a billionaire, given more than $500 million to the school and are 80-plus years old what do you care? Screw it.
