Guys, I graduated from Baylor in 1968. Have not been back to Baylor since the '70s when I came down to see some games with Grant coaching. I was in Waco this weekend visiting with my boy who works in Chicago. He was in Waco interviewing for a job. Your prayers welcome on that front.
As it happened we went to a Steakhouse in downtown Waco. As we were leaving the restaurant, we had to delay for several Suburbans as they waited for passengers. Those passengers included Coach Rule and his staff. Had a chance to talk to Coach. Nicest guy I met in a longtime. Told him I was amazed at the work he had done in the month he has been here. As expected he was gracious and said he had a lot of good help.
What an unexpected pleasure. It was GREAT.
