This was really short with not anything really asked specifically about the team.

On QB Succession: "It's kind of like having a good sprinter in track. The next guy wants to come here. At UH, we have Kevin Kolb and Chase Keenum. Same thing with us here. After Robert [Griffin III], we had Nick [Florence] and Bryce [Petty]. Guys want to come play in this offense when they see success."

On uncertainty ever at QB: "There's always uncertainty. You're never certain of anything at that position. You make sure guys are on the same page."

On Kansas coach David Beaty calling Baylor's scheme brilliant and that they don't share (he meant that as a compliment): "I don't know about brilliant. I wouldn't brilliant. Other people can determine what they feel about it. We're just trying to grind and make first downs. The share part is that we have people all over the nation that's similar....We've got our "system" and coach it and teach it and play it the best we can.''

Kansas coach David Beaty.
Beaty said that Ryan Willis is the next man up at QB for the Jayhawks. Montell Cozart, who is dealing with a shoulder injury, was being evaluated and that his status was going to be known either late Monday or Tuesday.

Beaty on Baylor: "Baylor is really kind of fun to watch unless you play them."

Also Briles said at his presser (Stephen will provide later):
>They held RB Devin Chafin out (hamstring) because they wanted to be cautious.

>DT Byron Bonds (broken hand) could have played but the staff chose not to play him. There are not injuries of consequence.

>TE Trevor Clemons-Valdez did see a couple of snaps.
