Happy Gameday everyone! Thankfully I got through the tough weather up north and made it down to Waco today for what we all hope will be a great matchup and a Baylor win! We are just under 30 minutes till kickoff and the field is pretty wet and slick today.

This is who I have confirmed, there are a few I heard rumors about that I am waiting for confirmation

My sleep schedule has been really messed up due to being under the weather, but again I wanted to make sure I was consistent in getting these out to you. Stay tuned as I will confirm visiting prospects in the coming hours and get that out to you.

Honestly, I'm surprised by this. What do y'all say?

Abram Smith, who rushed for a career total 1,647 yards and 13 touchdowns over three seasons at Baylor, has resigned with the DC Defenders of the XFL.

In the 2023 XFL season, Smith was selected in the first round of the XFL by the Defenders. He rushed for 788 yards and 7 touchdowns in the season where DC made it to the Championship game before falling to Arlington.

After the season, the Minnesota Vikings signed him to a preseason contract, but was waived at the end of the preseason. On Thursday, October 19, he resigned with the Defenders to play in the upcoming 2024 spring season for the Defenders.

Here is the my scouting report for the game against Cincinnati. I watched plenty of film and did quite a bit of research, and frankly Cincinnati's performance all comes down to one player, their quarterback. I think we can walk out of Saturday with a win.

While I work on how I am going to attack basketball season, I'm going to keep my normal football schedule going. Aranda mentioned these himself during Monday's presser and I honestly agree.

At the beginning of the season, I looked at four possibilities for the season; The ceiling, the floor, exceeding expectations, and disappointment. As we prepare to begin the second half of the season, I revisited those and updated them.

October 28, Baylor will kickoff against Iowa State at home with a 2:30 kickoff time. The game will be exclusively on ESPN+

I'm still struggling with some. I'm going to keep bugging them and their coaches until I can get some stats and answers.

Admittedly, I am not a big basketball guy, but a good start is figuring out who to watch for, and now I know! Two Baylor players were named honorable mention, while one became the third consecutive Freshman of the Year!

I got to catch up with the young man and get his thoughts on Baylor. He has several ties to Baylor and grew up a Bears fan.
