We had a chance to check in with several members of the 2023 class to get their reaction to Dripping Springs QB Austin Novosad staying with Baylor. Hope to add a few more as we go.
"I feel like we’re putting together a pretty special class with people who are expected to play early being the team is losing key parts after this year.''
"I think it’s huge. I finally got to meet him and his a genuine guy. I think this class will be special in the future. Big things are on the way for Baylor."

"Means we're gonna keep building something special. People think Baylor can't pull in top recruits but this class is gonna change that. Excited to be protecting a guy like Austin for the next few years. It's gonna be fun."
"Means a lot! Our class is great, and Austin takes it to a whole new level. It’s amazing to know I will have a QB like that in the future."

"It’s just good to know I get to keep my guy. He got some big time offers so of course he’s gonna explore them. But when he realized that Baylor is the best place to be he knew he had to stay with us. I think this class is special and is gonna be huge for Baylor in the coming seasons. The group of guys and the bond we already have is not normal. Bunch of hard working, good quality dudes coming together.''
