Yours truly got a chance to see Hurst L.D. 6-1 2017 standout Lexi Gordon the other day. It was for another walk of life. She said after Friday's game that she will announce her commitment decision after the HS season is over. The finalists are Baylor, TCU, Texas and UConn. She was in Storrs last week for unofficial and was offered while up there.
She's a pretty darn good offensive player. Gordon can hit the 3-pointer and has pretty solid moves in the paint. There's a lot to do on the defensive end with her feet. She also needs to get stronger because she can get pushed around on the block.
However, she's really good. I think ESPN had her rated as the No. 34 player in the country at one time.
Now, don't get used to this. If I run into anything like this by circumstance, I'll always pass it along. Just wanted to let you know.
