Just a couple of things coming out of the Art Briles session with the media.

(RS FR WRs Chris Platt and Zamora redshirting last year) Of course it always helps. But now they're not sitting in the backseat. They're in the front driving and have earned their keep and can show what they can do to help our football team.

They are both athletically gifted. They can run, jump and catch. The whole thing now is about applying it to the field and the situation and making plays when they have the opportunity.

(Ish) You don't have to be around football a long time to say, "Ooh that's a big receiver." That 's pretty evident. He has a unique skill set and Chris is a fearless player. That's what we're looking for in all of them is fearlessness.

(Have you accomplished all you wanted with three spring practices left?) No, not even close. It's a never ending process and we've just got to keep finding ways to get better and make sure we have people in the proper spots. That's the most important thing.

(Evaluating QBs Seth Russell and Jarrett Stidham) It's always an evaluation. They're making some plays and missing some plays. That's expected. We're breaking in new receivers and there's a learning curve. We lost three five-year receivers.

(NB Patrick Levels and Travons Blanchard on field at same time) That's a little different package. Both of those guys can play. (Sounds like something they will look at further)

(Safeties) Taion Sells and Chance Waz are really good. It's invaluable the kind of experience you can get on the field playing.
