Just got word that Oklahoma State has offered Ringling, OK and recent Baylor OT commit Riley Daniel.
However, I asked Daniel about it and if it meant anything. His response: "Nope. Not a thing.''
There's always some last-minute stuff going on before Wednesday. We'll keep you posted should we hear anything else.
(UPDATE: 8:30 am Tuesday): We know Baylor is continuing to push on Waco Midway S Kahlil Haughton to see if he will re-consider at the last minute and flip from Oklahoma. At this point, it seems like a long shot. But Haughton hasn't exactly turned away listening to the coaches either.
Remember, he visited with the entire defensive staff on Friday. He could have said, "No thank you. I'm not going to Baylor.'' But he hasn't. Every time Baylor has wanted to visit with him in person, he's given them the audience. Is it working? He recently said that some of the matters discussed will be in the back of his mind but that it shouldn't change his decision to stay with the Sooners.
Having said that, we're just going to watch this and see what happens.
(UPDATE: 3:30 PM Tuesday): Baylor has sent Haughton an LOI. Now, whether he signs it is another story. He's at the international game at AT&T Stadium. Remember, these players doing their signing ceremony from this location.
Well, that was an interesting note.
