Admittedly, there are worse things in life to get upset about. That said, my Minnesota Twins just left New York with tails between their legs. Got swept in the 3-game series. Had leads in each game fairly deep into them. Blew them all.
Led 5-2 in the 6th on Monday...lost 8-7 in 10 innings.
Led 4-1 going to the bottom of the 7th on Tuesday...lost 8-4 because A-Rod hit a slam.
Down 2-0 going to the 6th on Wednesday, they get 3 in the 6th to take a 3-2 lead and immediately turn around and give it right back and lose 4-3.
They went 1-5 against the Yank-mes this year. We are 41 games under .500 against New York going back to 2002 and that doesn't include all of the postseason meltdowns against them.
It's so frustrating. It's like they don't want to compete. And when they go out there, they know they're waiting for the other shoe to drop. Just ticks me off to no end.
Now, if Baylor does the same thing in Fort Worth, Thanksgiving dinner may come back up....
Ok, that's over. I had to get it out.
Ironically, this post is sitting above, "The Jesus Story.'' LOL
