Story from Bloomberg.
It's a summary of what's been going on with cable TV, etc. ESPN has lost 3 million subscribers, TNT/TBS 2 million, Fox1 440,000.
The elephant in the room is that live sports was the only thing that people watched without recording it and fast forwarding through commercials. Prices kept going up (Longhorn network) and cable bills going over $100, seemed to hit the breaking point when you could get Netflix and Amazon Prime for less than twenty bucks a month total, while watching it on multiple devices and not having to pay a cable box fee.
