Here we go at 7:15 pm on ESPN News between the No. 22 Bears (12-3, 2-1) and TCU (9-6, 1-2)

Plus, there are some improvements on the way to the Ferrell Center.

Baylor blows out TCU at the Ferrell Center in front of 5,764. This was probably the most energized crowd of the year. Then again, it helps that the opponent is the arch rival.

Some thoughts!

>The efficiency of this team is the word to use for this team. It plays at a level that everybody can more than appreciate. Baylor had 27 assists for 31 made fields. Lester Medfort had 11 assists. No one has to worry about or be concerned about the point guard position anymore. For the year, he's at 114 assists and 29 turnovers. That's nearly 4 to 1. By the way, the Bears only turned it over 10 times.

>What made this effort so impressive is that everybody had a hand in this one. Taurean Prince had nine points. But he only took six shots. Then there's Rico Gathers with 11. King McClure with nine. Johnathan Motley with 10. The rebounding numbers were spread out. And this didn't happen in garbage time (you may say that really started with seven minutes to play in the game). This was the theme throughout the night.

>The defense was pretty solid holding TCU to 40 percent. But a lot of those were one shot and out. Baylor outrebound the Frogs, 36-19. Horned Frogs with only six offensive rebounds.

>Terry Maston is really fun to watch growing up. He's a presence. He understands the game and where he needs to be on the floor. Maston scored a career-high and team-high 17 (14 in the first half) on 8-11 shooting. He's Rico Gather's replacement per se. I thought when he had a good game in the opener at Kansas I was curious if this was sign of things to come. He's doing it right now.

>If you want to watch a team shut the door, put it at the foul line. Baylor was 15-19 for the game is now 75.7 for the season.

>Bears will look to keep it going against Texas Tech at 2:00 pm Saturday in Lubbock.
