A couple of items to keep you in the loop..
>As you know when Dallas Advanced Preparatory International and 2016 Rivals150 Terrance Ferguson committed to Alabama this past summer, he did not sign there. And the way we hear things through channels, he may not sign with the Crimson Tide this coming spring signing period either. Should it play out that way, we're hearing Baylor and Kansas are likely the two destination Ferguson will choose from. That's not too surprising from the Baylor perspective because the Bears were one of the early leaders for Ferguson around this time last year and into the spring. Ferguson had taken multiple trips to Waco.
>Also, you've read where we posted that Findlay Prep (NV) guard Markus Howard is taking an official visit to Baylor for the March 5 regular season finale against West Virginia. Notice we didn't put a year on him. That's because Howard is apparently taking a heavier course load this spring and possibly summer to where he could graduate this year and be on campus for his school of choice for the 2016-17 season. Howard visited Baylor this past summer and the Bears have always appeared to be in a good position for the Arizona native. Of course, Howard is teammates with current Baylor 2017 commit, F Tristan Clark.
We'll have our preview for Kansas State later Wednesday afternoon.
