With the two coaches suspended for the game it is time for us to question whether these suspension are a distraction or an issue of institutional control. Forget the Dave Bliss era, since then Drew was suspended for improper communication with recruits as I recall. The two players both ignored the law. Now, the OC and son of the head coach, along with a newly promoted WR coach, are now suspended for a game.

Is winning more important than our reputation? To most Baylor fans this is an embarrassment. Baylor should and does have a higher standard than other schools. Is there too much pressure on our athletic department that we are having to bend the rules? Or we were the unfortunate ones to get caught when everyone else does it (this was rumored to be over the old UT accusations made with regards to Ketchum).

Notice I haven't even mentioned the investigation into the Sam U. situation.

Not sure what all is going on, but I hope that the outside investigation can bring some clarity. It is time that Baylor set a higher standard for its coaches.
