In my mind this ensures that the football playoffs will move to 8 teams sooner rather than later. This also argues for smaller conferences with better match-ups every week.
There is no money in an ISU vs. KU because there are no play-off implications. The sec...sec...would be better off with 2-4 less teams. The Big-12 is large enough at 10 teams.
