Demond Carter
Demond Carter[/URL] out of Reserve Christian High School in Louisiana is one of the top point guards in the nation for the class of 2006. Hoopmasters is reporting that his top 4(not necessarily in any order) are Baylor, Duke, Texas and Oklahoma.
Carter was one of only two freshman to compete in last year’s Nike All-America Camp (Derrick Caracter was the other). The Reserve Christian product averaged 22.7 points for the high school team as an eighth-grader and 24.7 as a freshman and led the team to state titles during both campaigns. He scored 39 points in this year’s state championship game, a 72-67 double-overtime win.
