Chris Roquemore
You guys probably remember hearing that Chris Roquemore[/URL] committed to us, then decommitted a while back. CR is a 6'8, 205 lb. center from Heritage Christian in Cleveland. He is widely considered to be a top 50 national recruit for his age group. Texas Roundball has him rated as the #3 player in the state of Texas for the class of 2006. Of course, all of that could naturally go up or down by the time he is a senior, but that is where he stands now.
Just so you know, we are still in good standing with this prospect. It was just too early for him to commit to anyone at the time. As you probably heard, he is saying that his top schools are Baylor, Texas, Arizona, and Uconn. I still like our chances. Nothing is certain til it's done, but we should have a good shot.
