Baylor added much needed experience to its wide receiver corps when it signed Dartmouth GT Drew Estrada on Wednesday.
The Argyle High School product did not play in 2020 because the Ivy League had shut down football for the season. Viewed as a possession receiver, Estrada enjoyed a huge 2019 season in which he caught 51 passes for 827 yards and eight scores. He also averaged 16.2 yards per reception. For his career, Estrada has 1,418 receiving yards and was a second-team All-Ivy performer in 2019 at both receiver and in the return game. SMU and TCU were also in pursuit. He was a sure-handed punt returner with an 87-yard return for a score.
Estrada entered the portal earlier this month. Baylor offered on Dec. 8. He will have one year to play.
