Baylor (16-24) earned an 8-6 win over Lamar (18-22) Tuesday evening at Baylor Ballpark. The Bears scored all eight runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings en route to victory.
Kameron Esthay started the scoring for the Bears by leading off the fourth with a long solo homer to right field. Mitch Price followed with a double and Cameron Miller singled to right. Lamar right fielder CJ Moore had Miller’s ball go through his legs to allow Price to score for a BU 2-0 lead.
In the fifth, Miller struck again after an Esthay walk and Price single as he roped a two-run double down the right field line.
