I think Baylor has the inside track on Trophy Club Byron Nelson 2016 offensive tackle Kellen Diesch. There seems to be some thinking that a decision could be coming soon. I view this as a very fluid situation with nothing really definitive.
As you know, I'm not one for printing cornball rumors. However, what I have picked up over the last 72 hours gives me a sense that Diesch could eventually be a Bear. Obviously, we'll keep working on this to see where this is going.
One person I talked said there was a discussion with Diesch about two weeks ago. Diesch said then he was leaning toward Baylor.
Of course, Baylor offered Diesch last fall and he's made several trips down to Waco. Byron Nelson's spring game is Thursday night. I plan to be there anyway for another walk of life. I have no idea if an announcement is coming that night. It may not come at all.
But you're paying for this. It would be nice if your lazy publisher would actually do something.
