Baylor led 5-3 after seven innings, surrendered a run in the eighth and then consecutive home runs in the 9th did them in. Bad bullpen this season. Doubleheader begins at 1 pm Sunday at Baylor Ballpark.
The Bears are firmly in 8th place going into Sunday. Kansas is in 9th at 7-15. So the Bears are probably going to have to win at least one and hope for KSU to sweep the Jayhawks on Sunday. Remember, Baylor did win 2 of 3 in Lawrence, KS a couple of weeks ago. Even if KU wins on Sunday, the Bears would have to be swept by the Longhorns in order to miss the Big 12 tournament. I think that's right because it would put KU at 8-15 and Baylor at 8-16.
