TCU scored 17 points in the 4th quarter. They ran all over OU and with their 3rd string QB passed enough to get within 1 point at the end of the game. Gary Patterson decided to go for 2 saying that "fresh legs" were needed for the next week against Baylor

Conventional wisdom says also go for the win on the road, although it seldom happens. Home teams get the calls. The crowd can make a difference. There are many home field advantages, but most coaches will tell you to for the win on the road although many play it safe and go for OT.

Everything was going Patterson's way. OU offense with Trevor Knight can't get out of first gear. Mayfield isn't coming back into the game. Perrin is limping as is Mixon. All the momentum is on the Frog's side. The crowd is out of the game. What was he thinking about?

Baylor? Really? I think GP is overrated as a head coach.
