If Prince can play a full season like these last 10-12 games, he'll be an all-American next year. The last time he failed to reach double figures was January 14 at Iowa State. Since then, he's had six games scoring at least 20.
He's seventh in the league in scoring at 14.0 per game, but he's actually averaging 15.4/game in Big 12 games. That would have him ranked fourth. He does all this while averaging the least amount of minutes per game (26.3) of anyone in the top 10 in scoring. That's why I don't think he'll make it -- will coaches/media put a "bench player" on the first team?
But that will change. Last night he played 38 minutes, including starting the second half, and scored 20 of his 24 points. He was the main reason Baylor didn't suffer an embarrassing loss last night.
If he makes another offseason improvement, sky's the limit for him next year.
