I have been hearing that Briles no longer has much input into player discipline with the new position in the athletic department. Perhaps with both Ketchum and Armistead might still both be with us if Briles was still in charge, but can't verify that.
If true, wonder how Art feels about losing control of this piece long turn? Personally, I like it. I think we need it, but it sure scares me sometimes to put the wrong people in academics over athletics.
