I have been banging my hand on the table for Hightower (TX) DE Micheal Johnson for well over a year now.
There are many reasons - his motor, his frame, his technique, and the fact that he is a two-time district defensive MVP.
But how about this fact? Today is Johnson's birthday and he turns 17 years old, yes 17 years old.
Think about that for a moment...17 years old today and will be on campus in Waco this June, then he will turn 18 years old next February as a seasoned college freshman with one season of college football under his belt.
Johnson is not only a special player on the field, but interest from several Ivy League programs throughout the process prove that he will also be a great addition to the university as well.
I could go on and on, but just wanted to post a reminder for any fans who aren't as familiar with Johnson.
