Protect our neighborhood by taking Houston in the XII----Yes, I've heard all the negatives but what could
more negative than having another conference--yes, Houston is in a conference now---come into Texas
and put a fox in the Hen House, so to speak, then than fox becomes an Elephant for that conference i.e.
sec, others, trumpeting their accomplishments and creating negative comments about the Big XII.
There are stipulations to ask Houston to do if they so chose to become a member of a P5 Conference, XII.
(other conferences would do the same). Stadium, academic studies, athletic programs, etc.,
I would definitely like to keep them 'close' where XII can guide them, more or less, under regulations rather than having, say, the sec, doing the same.........and fighting us (all Texas teams and XII) all the time.
Baylor will recruit well this year and in the future as the foundation for the Bears is here now. So, hopefully,
more obstacles will come into 'our neighborhood.'
