Today (June 15) was the first day coaches could reach out to 2017 prospects.
Baylor has done that with Kenner, LA 2017 6-8 SF Joseph Thompson. He visited Baylor over the weekend with 2016 6-4 PG Skylar Mays, who is from Baton Rouge but will be attending Findlay Prep in Las Vegas, and Ja'Tyre Carter, a 6-5 2017 PF.
From what it sounds like Baylor is taking a hard look at offering Mays.
2016 commit Mark Vital also visited over the weekend.
As you can see, this is a serious Louisiana presence.
Baylor also reached out to Keller and 2017 Rivals150 standout guard R.J. Nembhard. He spoke with Scott Drew and Grant McCasland.
