But I will say that when Baylor-TCU went off and on after the breakup of the Southwest Conference, it was disappointing. You want to find a way to play your arch rival every year even if they weren't in your conference. Strong made good points about Florida-Florida State and Clemson-South Carolina finding a way every year despite being in different leagues.
I still think it's bad that Nebraska-Oklahoma disappeared after the Huskers left for the Big 10 (their call, of course). The same for Missouri-Kansas.
