He said on David Smoak's show that they are in discussions with 3-4 P5 schools. There had been some talk about Mississippi State. McCaw said nothing is solid with the Bulldogs.
Baylor coach Art Briles was on an Audible podcast with FoxSports' Stewart Mandel where he mentioned the series with Mississippi State. But the Mississippi State AD Scott Stricklin said that wasn't the case.
As we mentioned about a month ago, Baylor had a series with an ACC school but that school backed out.
