Strong came back with a 2 year deal, and once discussed with Gilbert, verbally game him a 3
year deal. But by this time, Gilbert had lost faith----who hasn't---in Strong. Gilbert wanted his
OL Coach Mattox in the deal and he was only offered a 2 year contract. Strong can only offer
a 2 year contract but has to get approval from 'higher ups',???? for a 3.
So the N. N. A. F. U. continues at the '40 acres', ??????????? or MAJOR CLUSTER FUSS continues.
