On top of Baylor and Tech taking the "Shootout" moniker, since Texas and Oklahoma decided the "Red River Shootout" was too violent a name, the trophy has the score of each game on a small plaque, and the "football" on top has BU on one side and TT on the other. The winner of the game keeps the trophy for the year, and puts the football with their logo facing forward. After 73 games, the rivalry stands at 36-36-1.
