A four game suspension that meant a fine of something like $4 million always seemed crazy to me for a violation that was the equivalent of having too much pine tar on a bat.
It was crazy for them to use the suspension rules for performance enhancing drugs instead of the fine rules for equipment violations.
Anyway, it embarrasses Roger Goodell, so I'm good with it.
A lot of commentators were saying the losing side would appeal, but if the NFL has any sense, they'll drop this.
