I got tipped from our Minnesota colleagues that the Bears have offered the Iowa Western C.C. standout.
Apparently, Jackson was about to sign with the Gophers on Wednesday until Baylor and Oklahoma State came in. This is all just happening. Our Minnesota colleagues tell us that Jackson still intends to sign with the Gophers. So we'll just have to see what develops.
My initial take/speculation - He's 6-2, 308. That smells like NG to me and the Baylor coaches may know Andrew Billings is going to declare for the NFL draft. Even if it doesn't work out, I'm sure this isn't the last DT Baylor will pursue.
