Corey Coleman told reporters he suffered the hernia injury the week of the Oklahoma game as he was representing OU WR Sterling Shepherd on 3rd down passing plays. I know I've had a couple of people express some frustration over this. But this isn't unprecedented for this kind of thing to happen for star players to be used in these kinds of roles in practice.
Heck, he could have walked to class, tripped over a sprinkler head and broken his ankle. It just happens. We can't have them in cotton bales until the game.
