Pinch-hitter West Tunnell blasted a two-out solo homer to right in the eighth for a 6-5 lead that stood.

Bears get their first series sweep since Feb. 13-15 vs Cal Poly.

Bears at Sam Houston St. Tuesday. First road game of the season.
