WACO, Texas – Baylor baseball earned a 6-3 win over San Diego at the Baylor Baseball Battle on Sunday afternoon at Baylor Ballpark. The Bears (7-8) used a four-run sixth inning to overcome a 3-1 Toreros (9-8) deficit.
In the second game, Baylor baseball fell 7-4 to New Mexico State in the finale of the Baylor Baseball Battle on Sunday afternoon at Baylor Ballpark. The Bears (7-9) fought back for a 4-3 lead but NMSU’s (10-8) four-run seventh inning proved too costly.
Bears are off until Friday when they open Big 12 play against Texas Tech at Baylor Ballpark.
