So as you saw elsewhere on the board, Texas came to see him earlier on Thursday. The 4-star DE is expected to take his OV to Austin today.

Now, this is where it gets interesting. There are plans for him to take an OV to Auburn this weekend. But when will it start? If he stays in Austin only until Friday, he's probably headed to War Eagle. If he stays through Saturday, then I think he's going to Baylor. Then, there's the chance he bails on Auburn altogether and comes to Baylor. The Auburn OV has been the plan all along.

Having said that, even if Princely visits Auburn and returns at a decent hour on Sunday, he could swing back by Baylor for one last look. Sunday is the quiet period day where recruits can visit a college campus.

Baylor is in this. It's a finalist with Texas, Auburn and Florida (where he visited last week). I do know there is a family push for him to stay within driving distance. If that played out, this is Baylor vs. Texas. If it's not, then who knows.

And from what I gather, there has been no change from him making his announcement until Wednesday.

We’ll keep you posted.

Final OV Weekend
Here are the known official visitors for this final weekend of the recruiting season before the second signing period begins on Wednesday, Feb. 5. We'll do some double checking as we go along.

>Princely Umanmielen - What will be interesting to watch here is if Texas tries to talk him out of not visiting Auburn but more so Baylor. This is the first time Dave Aranda and Tom Herman have gone head to head. If Unmanmielen winds up coming, it's a huge boost for Baylor. Remember, he de-committed from Texas in late October.

The two-sport just took an OV to USC earlier in the week. Part of the weekend will be spent with Baseball head coach Steve Rodriguez. A shortstop, Shapen said it's going to be important to see how Baylor would work with him to play both sports and compare it to what USC offered. There is no timetable for him to announce it at this point. Obviously, Baylor's coaching staff wants to bring another QB into the program because of the unknowns behind Charlie Brewer.

His commitment to Arkansas was pretty short - November 2019 to Jan. 10, 2020 - and he would be a help to a Baylor secondary that suffered massive losses including the unexpected departure of Grayland Arnold who declared for the NFL draft. Harris took a visit to Ole Miss last week. He is the No. 41 rated player in Alabama. Baylor offered him earlier this week.

>
It's been a mad dash to the finish line for the late blooming defensive back. He took an unofficial visit to SMU last week. He's currently at Auburn before projecting to arrive in Waco for his official visit. He's expecting Auburn to talk him out of not coming to Texas. Time will tell what happens. The bigger question is whether he will sign on Wednesday. He has said he is unsure.

Reed did get a bump in his rating to 3 stars in the final Rivals ratings. As we told you earlier in the week, his meeting with tight ends coach Shawn Bell went well to the point that Baylor believes he will qualify before he gets on campus in the summer. He did have a big year for Lawton, OK in 2019: 37-853 (23.1 ypc) 6TD.

>
Since he didn't arrive for the Dec. 14 weekend because his team was in the playoffs, Neal Jr. had to schedule it for this coming weekend. He signed on Dec. 18.

Notable: With Lancaster DB Theron Stroops committing to Trinity Valley CC and Cecilia (LA) DB Jalen Celestine signing with a JUCO (Baylor would honor his scholarship if he qualifies but that would be in the summer), those two were removed from the 2020 commitment list.

A busy week of Offers
A rundown of who Aranda and his staff offered this week. This will be for 2021 and 2022 prospects.
