Only an Aggie can screw this up. In order to get our of his contract as Defensive Coordinator to become the highest paid DC in America at A&M Chavis had to give a written 30 day notice. He did in early January and then began recruiting for A&M immediately - while still employed at LSU! His final day wasn't until Feb. 3. So LSU is now suing for $400K they want back and now Chavis has filed suit for A&M making them pay for it. The attorney for Chavis files suit in TX which has no jurisdiction against LSU and Chavis. Wonder how A&M feels today after guaranteeing Chavis $1.7M and now he is suing for them to pay the $400K.
