Yes, I'm looking on from my beach as I write this. Anyway...
>Everything with PF Tristan Clark continues to be positive as he recovers from his knee injury that cut short his 2019-20 season. Rehabs are going well. What that will mean for him to play an entire 2020-21 season - whatever that look likes -- is another story. From what I gather, it's just a case where everyone is taking it day by day and crossing their fingers that he will get through it.
>No formal decisions have been made by Baylor's draft entries Jared Butler and MaCio Teague. They have until Aug. 3 to decide. It is sounding like Teague will stay in the draft. Butler seems like more of a certainty that he will remain. But time will tell. Teague has signed with an NCAA certified agent Trinity Best. But because Best is certified, that doesn't impact Teague's status.
>Baylor is still a ways away from finalizing its non-conference schedule. But just a couple of notables:
*Baylor plays at Seton Hall in the Big 12-Big East Battle
*Baylor will play in the Empire Classic Nov. 19-20 at Madison Square Garden with Michigan, NC State and Villanova. This is a tournament where there are games on campus sites on Nov. 10. Baylor could be playing Cal-State Northridge or Howard or another unnnamed opponents.
*Baylor returns to MSG in December with a game against rising Rutgers in the Jimmy V Classic.
*I'm double checking this, but I believe Baylor has a return game to Oregon this fall after the Ducks came to Waco in 2019-20.
Just getting you some knowledge. Carry on.
