After my segment with David Smoak and ESPN Central Texas, I did a double check. Look for DE Sam Ukwuachu - a Houston native and Boise St transfer - to be on the roster when fall camp opens on Aug. 4. There are the expectations for him to make the 2 deep before the Sept. 4 opener at SMU. Of course, it's going to be on him to fulfill that part. Ukwuachu was not on the roster for either the 2014 season or the 2015 spring season.
(UPDATE): I don't know specifics but I can tell you that the situation with LB Cordell Dorsey's future with the football program is up in the air. At this point, it's really unclear if he is or is not with the team. I guess the only way we'll find out is when the roster comes out next week when fall camp starts (Aug. 4).
