The Baylor coaches held their final satellite camp of the summer at Houston (TX) Episcopal high school this afternoon and over 300 players showed up to compete.

Those numbers are a little skewed, mostly because the groups included a 'young' group - incoming freshman - and then the 2016/17 kids in another group, but a packed camp to say the least.

Here are some interviews, notes, tidbits and pictures from the camp earlier today...

VIDEO: Arnold solid with Baylor

Kountze (TX) ATH and Baylor commitment Grayland Arnold was a full participant at the camp today, working at both corner and wide receiver for the coaches today.

2017 No. 1 makes an appearance:

Houston (TX) Episcopal DT Marvin Wilson was recently named the No. 1 prospect in the country and a 5-star prospect by Rivals.com. With the camp being held at his high school, Wilson's attendance was expected, but the Baylor coaches swarmed the standout prospect and it was evident the coaching staff has a good relationship with Wilson.

Houston (TX) Westside DT Jordan Elliott originally committed to the Baylor coaches in January, then decided to reopen his recruitment and eventually verbally committed to the coaching staff at Houston. Elliott spent the entire afternoon with Coach (Chris) Achuff and later announced that he now plans to officially visit Baylor in December.

"I have a really good relationship with Coach Achuff and we have stayed in contact," Elliott said. "His attitude and how he coaches the defensive line, they are all one big family. Coach is a funny guy and someone you can really get along with.

"I want to take my official visits and make sure that I'm where I want to be. I was planning to officially visit LSU, but I actually just changed it out and will be visiting Baylor sometime in December. I'm also taking officials visits to USC, Texas, Alabama and Michigan this fall."

Baylor 2017 recruits on hand:

Rivals100 WR commit Hezekiah Jones, Rivals250 WR commit Jhamon Ausbon and new safety commit Donovan Stiner were on hand to watch the camp, spend time around the Baylor coaches and continue to recruit some of the other 2017 targets in attendance.

2017 Rivals100 OL stops by:

Houston (TX) Episcopal OL Walker Little just returned from an unofficial visit to Waco this week and stopped by the Baylor camp at his stomping grounds earlier today. Little spent a lot of time hearing from Hezekiah Jones, Jhamon Ausbon and Donovan Stiner this afternoon. There is a lot of time left for 2017 recruiting and Little has several other visits planned, but the coaches and some of the current recruits were showing the standout lineman a lot of love.

2017 QB commit Kellen Mond participates in the camp today:

Kellen Mond was a full participant at the camp today. Coach Art Briles and Coach Kendal Briles both spent plenty of time with Mond, audibly cheering on "Mondo" every time he made a good throw. The standout signal caller looked very comfortable around the coaches and had a lot of zip on the ball today. It was evident that Mond wasn't going all out, but he made some very accurate intermediate throws and looked pretty sharp.

A group of UH commits attend BU camp:

We already addressed DT Jordan Elliott above, but there were two other Houston commitments working out at the Baylor camp today. Missouri City (TX) Hightower DE Micheal Johnson and OL Darta Lee both committed to Houston earlier this spring. Johnson is an intriguing prospect at the defensive end position and a player that could be an option for the Baylor coaches later in the recruiting process. For now, neither prospect is an immediate offer but always interesting when players committed to other programs attend and compete at another program's camp.

Two new 2017 offers made today:

The Baylor coaches made new offers to Houston (TX) North Shore DE K'Lavon Chaisson and Richmond (TX) George Ranch safety Adam Beck, both 2017 prospects from the greater Houston area.

Here is Kevin's interview with Adam Beck from this week.

Chaisson discussed his new offer today after the camp...

Roy stops by to see the coaches:

Baylor DT commit Bravvion Roy stopped by the camp to spend some time around the Baylor coaches this afternoon. Unfortunately, we didn't get to spend much time talking with him before he had to leave, but Roy spent a lot of time with Coach Achuff and watched the defensive line group for a good 45 minutes before having to leave.

DT Darius Anderson
DE Sidney Murray
LB Maciah Long
LB Temisan Kuyatsemi
DB Ethan Adams
DB Bryceon Drenon
DE Isaiah Bean
LB Cameron Goode
ATH CeeJay Powell
ATH Brandon Taylor

Other 2017 standouts:
