Baylor G Adam Flagler declares for NBA draft (STORY POSTED)

In carefully worded declaration, Baylor veteran guard Adam Flagler announced on his IG page on Monday he has declared for the NBA Draft.

However, what Flagler didn't say was that he was foregoing his final year of eligibility nor was he going to maintain his collegiate eligibility.



Essentially, that likely means that Flagler is keeping his options open of either looking for NBA feedback and whether Baylor's NIL program can put together an offer to entice him to return for his final year in 2023-24. A source said Flagler is all in on the draft at this point.

Flagler, the senior guard on this team that finished 23-11 and advanced to the Round of 32 in the NCAA tournament, led the Bears in scoring at 15.6 points and shot 40 percent from 3-point range.

Should Flagler decide to remain in the NBA draft, it would mean Baylor would have an entirely new backcourt in the 2023-24 season.

One-and-done phenom Keyonte George declared for the NBA Draft.

LJ Cryer declared for the NBA Draft but maintained his eligibility. However, he also entered the NCAA Transfer portal and committed to Houston.

Reserve guard Dale Bonner also entered the portal and committed to Ohio State on Monday,
